Dress Code Policy
At The ReCenter Foundation, we believe that appearance reflects personal respect, discipline, and consideration for others. The way we dress impacts the tone of our community and promotes dignity for ourselves and those around us.
All residents are expected to abide by the following dress code in common areas and during all foundation-related activities.
-
General Guidelines
- Residents must be fully dressed at all times in all common areas (e.g., living room, kitchen, hallways, porch, yard).
- Bare chests and undergarments are not considered acceptable attire in shared spaces.
- Pants must be worn at the waistline—no sagging.
-
Footwear
- Shoes, sandals, or house slippers must be worn in all common areas.
- Going barefoot outside of private rooms is not permitted for health and safety reasons.
-
Sleepwear & Lounge Wear
- Pajamas, bathrobes, or lounge clothes are only permitted in common spaces between 9 PM to 9 AM.
- After morning hours (by 9:00 AM), all residents must be dressed for the day in shared spaces.

- Clothing with offensive, suggestive, violent, or drug/alcohol-related graphics or language is not allowed.
- No shirts with profanity or imagery that contradicts the Christian values of the foundation.
