In a world where brokenness abounds—where addiction, homelessness, and incarceration have ravaged countless lives—The ReCenter Foundation stands as a beacon of restoration and redemption through the power of Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple yet profound: to serve the overlooked and downtrodden by providing a pathway to healing, housing, and hope.
A Call to the Broken
The heart of The ReCenter Foundation beats for the men who have been cast aside, forgotten by society but never forgotten by God. We believe every life is precious, regardless of its past. Jesus declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives…” (Isaiah 61:1, ESV).
We do not see felons or addicts; we see sons and fathers, brothers and friends—people made in the image of God, worthy of dignity and a second chance. Our foundation answers the call to extend mercy where the world has extended judgment.
Christ-Centered Living
At the core of our program is a commitment to biblical discipleship. We believe true transformation begins with a renewed heart. Romans 12:2 reminds us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” That transformation can only come through an encounter with the living Christ.
Our residents are not just given a place to sleep—they are given a place to grow. Through daily Bible study, mentorship, prayer, and Christian community, men are invited to walk in newness of life. We echo the Apostle Paul’s words: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
A Safe Place to Start Over
Housing is more than shelter—it’s stability. Many who come to us are emerging from incarceration or homelessness, caught in a cycle of relapse and rejection. Our transitional housing provides a safe, structured environment where men can rebuild one step at a time. We take to heart the command of Hebrews 13:2: “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
We also believe in equipping our residents for long-term success. That means job readiness training, life skills development, and connections to local churches and employers. We know that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and our hands must match our hearts in lifting others up.
A Ministry of Reconciliation
Ultimately, The ReCenter Foundation is a ministry of reconciliation—between man and God, and man and society. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:18, “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” This is our calling: to be agents of grace in a world marked by shame and division.
We rejoice when a man who once slept on the streets now leads devotions for others. We celebrate when a former inmate finds not just a job, but a sense of purpose. And we give glory to God when families are restored, addictions are broken, and chains are loosed.
How You Can Help
We invite you to partner with us in this Kingdom work. Whether through prayer, volunteering, or financial support, your contribution has eternal significance. Proverbs 19:17 says, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.”
Together, we can continue the work of Christ—to seek and save the lost, to mend the wounded, and to declare that no life is beyond redemption.
