Serving Christ as We Serve Others
Thank you for visiting therecenterfoundation.com. We’re honored to have you here.
The ReCenter Foundation, Inc. is a faith-based 501 C (3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and stability to men facing life’s hardest battles—addiction, homelessness, and the challenges of rebuilding after incarceration.
Right now, we’re in an exciting season of renewal. While we’re not yet fully functional, we’re getting close. We are actively rebuilding our Board of Directors, reestablishing our operational foundation, and taking deliberate steps toward relaunching in a new community where we can plant our flag and serve once again.
As we prepare for this next chapter, we invite you to look around our website. Explore our mission, learn about the work we've done in the past, and get a glimpse of what we have on the drawing board. Whether you're a potential partner, supporter, or someone simply curious about our story, we hope you’ll catch the vision of what’s to come.
With your prayers, support, and shared passion for restoration, we believe the best is yet to come.
— The ReCenter Foundation Team
This is not a homeless shelter, halfway house, or mission—though we may prayerfully move toward those efforts in the future. For now, we’re focused on providing clean, dignified, Christ-centered housing for those who simply need a place to start again.
This home provides clean, safe, and affordable housing in a supportive, faith-centered environment. It's designed specifically for men who are working or actively seeking employment—men who want to rebuild their lives but are held back by the rising cost of rent, lack of support, or unstable living conditions.
Our goal is to offer a place of stability, where residents can catch their breath, develop healthy routines, save money, and prepare for long-term independence. This is a stepping stone, not a stopping point—a place to be restored and equipped, both practically and spiritually, before launching into a new season of life.
Thanks to our growing network of community partners and supporters, The ReCenter Foundation is able to offer residents more than just a place to stay. Through collaboration with local organizations, churches, and service providers, individuals in our care will have access to:
Case management and mental health counseling to support emotional healing and long-term stability
Job training programs and educational opportunities to equip residents with the tools they need to thrive
A compassionate, faith-centered support system that nurtures personal growth and accountability
These partnerships ensure our residents receive holistic care—body, mind, and spirit—as they rebuild their lives.
In addition to transitional housing programs, The ReCenter Foundation is committed to providing permanent residence for disabled individuals who are capable and independent but often overlooked in today’s housing market. Many people with physical disabilities live on fixed incomes and simply cannot keep up with rising rent prices.
Our goal is to create a stable, affordable living environment where these individuals can live with dignity, independence, and a sense of community. This is not temporary or transitional—it is a long-term solution designed to offer peace of mind and a place to truly call home.
By partnering with local service providers and maintaining below-market rent, we ensure residents have access to supportive care without being burdened by the financial strain that so often accompanies disability.
At The ReCenter Foundation, we understand addiction not merely as a clinical condition, but as a spiritual, emotional, and relational crisis—a symptom of deeper brokenness that calls for redemption, not just rehabilitation.
Addiction is the soul's attempt to fill a void that only Christ can satisfy. It is a form of bondage, where a person becomes enslaved to substances, behaviors, or patterns that promise relief but deliver destruction. Scripture speaks to this reality: “For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.” (2 Peter 2:19, ESV)
We believe addiction stems from unresolved pain, trauma, or hopelessness, and it thrives in isolation, shame, and spiritual disconnection. Therefore, the solution must be holistic—addressing the heart, mind, body, and spirit.
At its root, addiction is a false refuge. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Our mission is to lovingly redirect men toward that true refuge—Jesus Christ—who offers healing, identity, and lasting freedom.
The journey out of addiction is not just about breaking a habit; it's about being reborn into a new life (John 3:3), being renewed in the spirit of the mind (Ephesians 4:23), and being restored into fellowship—with God, with others, and with oneself.
At The ReCenter Foundation, we walk alongside those in addiction—not as projects to fix, but as brothers to love. We don’t just offer sobriety. We offer hope, purpose, and the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
Note: We provide biblical, spiritual and relational assistance, but we do not provide clinical or professional help. We have community partners that provide these services and we ensure that clients have access to them.
“You will surely forget your trouble,
recalling it only as waters gone by.
Life will be brighter than noonday,
and darkness will become like morning.
You will be secure, because there is hope;
you will look about you and take your rest in safety.”
At The ReCenter Foundation, we believe homelessness is more than the absence of a roof—it's the absence of belonging, stability, and often, hope.
We define homelessness not simply as lacking a place to sleep, but as living without the support, safety, and spiritual grounding that every human being deserves. It includes those sleeping on the streets, cycling through shelters, couch-surfing, or living in unstable, unsafe environments due to poverty, addiction, incarceration, or broken relationships.
From our perspective, homelessness is a crisis of restoration—a sign that someone has been cut off from the community and purpose they were created for. It is a wound that affects the whole person: physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
But we do not stop at the definition.
We believe that every homeless individual carries within them the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and the potential for redemption. The Lord reminds us, "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen... to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter?" (Isaiah 58:6-7). We are called not just to meet needs, but to rebuild lives, one soul at a time.
Through Christ-centered housing, discipleship, and community, The ReCenter Foundation offers not only a bed, but a path—a new direction rooted in faith, love, and dignity.
To us, homelessness is not a permanent label. It’s a temporary chapter in a longer story—one that God is still writing.
We are currently rebuilding our leadership team and securing a new location. While we’re not fully operational yet, we are taking active steps toward reopening soon.
Not exactly. While we support those experiencing housing insecurity, our focus is on transitional and supportive housing with spiritual guidance, not emergency shelter or court-mandated halfway housing.
When fully functional, residents will need to demonstrate a commitment to sobriety. We are not a rehab or a detox facility, but a next step for those ready to rebuild their lives.
Length of stay may vary based on individual needs, goals, and progress. Our goal is to help each resident transition into independent living with stability and purpose.
Our primary focus is on individual men in transition. However, we are exploring partnerships and resources to support families as well through referrals and future programming.
Yes! We are actively looking for suitable homes or buildings to lease, rent, or receive as a donation. If you or someone you know may be interested, we’d love to talk.
You can help by praying for our work, donating, eventually volunteering, or connecting us with property owners who have a desire to make an impact on the lives of others.

I was naked and you clothed me,
I was sick and you visited me,
I was in prison and you came to me."
